Supplies for Candles is the home of all things cosy! From waxes and wicks, to dupe fragrances – and everything in between they supply customers with everything they could need to make their own candles.
We were approached to help revamp their organic and paid search strategy in order to deliver on ambitious growth targets. One of the biggest opportunities was to encourage their media budgets to work harder and drive incremental revenue across the board.
With so many searches around candle making as a hobby and in order to build an idea of what customers need to begin – a key objective for us was to maximise organic visibility for key commercial terms. We also wanted to build out the reach we had for more informational terms that users who are higher up the purchase journey might search. We got to work on a full technical revamp of the site, working closely with the developers to focus on the key areas which were commercially going to move the needle. With a key focus on speed of site and re-categorization, we increased the visibility on the core set of commercial keywords we isolated as the key opportunity.
Alongside this, we worked with the team at SFC to create ‘The Hub’, which is a huge resource for candle makers, with a regular stream of content to inspire them and make Supplies for Candles more visible.
