Story
With over 850,000 diagnoses in the UK alone, a number set to reach 1 million by 2025, the impact of dementia is staggering and widespread. But we know the reach of this disease goes way beyond that. It’s physical, psychological, emotional - and perhaps most prominently to us, it’s personal.
Over half of the LITTLE team have been personally affected by dementia - which is exactly why we’re taking on the challenge.
Ditching the comfort of our desks in favour of walking boots and the great outdoors, we’re in training to take on the momentous Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.
50,000 steps. 25 miles. 9 hikers. 3 peaks. 1 long day.
Raising money for Alzheimer’s Society - a groundbreaking charity that supports people with dementia and those it affects - we’re climbing the Peaks to help provide hope for the future.
So, while we climb high (5200 ft to be exact!) we’re asking you to dig deep.
Donate today - no matter how big or LITTLE - so we can hit our target of £5,000 and help make the change we want to see - a world without dementia.
